1. Put Voice Notes as Status Updates
1. Users will soon be able to record and share voice messages for upto 30 seconds on WhatsApp status. Voice messages can be used in situations where you feel more comfortable expressing yourself by talking rather than typing. The company has announced this feature and it will reach users in the coming weeks.
' 2. View Once' Feature to Include Text Messages
The next feature in this list is the ability to send a text message that can only be viewed once. Which means it will disappear after the recipient has read it. This feature is currently limited to photos and videos on WhatsApp. In other words, users will soon be able to send self-destructing messages along with media files on WhatsApp.
3. Groups Set to Get an Update
According to reports, WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow users to schedule calls within group chats. The feature is currently under development, it is expected to be released in a future update of the application.
4. Pin Messages Within Chats
The messaging app will soon have a new feature that will allow users to pin messages within group chats. You will be able to pin messages in any conversation to the top of the chat. The new feature will be handy, especially in groups that receive a lot of messages.
5. Share Photos in Original Quality
Last but not least. This feature is for those who are always concerned about the quality of photos on WhatsApp. You will soon be able to send and receive photos on WhatsApp in their original quality. Currently, when you send a photo to someone, WhatsApp automatically compresses the image. Consequently, photo loses their quality and details but the upcoming feature will allow you to send high-resolution photos with ease.
